As we leave the building this morning, our fellowship, our friends, and our faith still go with us.
Christ's peace will stay in our hearts while we discern our future steps together. Amen.
Loving and leading God, give us patience to listen to your voice, give us courage to follow your footsteps, give us faith to trust that you are guiding us on a pathway that leads to the new thing you are doing. We pray in the name of Jesus, amen. Isaiah 43:18-19
So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”

Draw Nigh to God and God will Draw Nigh to You.
May we find a place called home where we are accepted as we are
And may this be that place,
May this Lenten season be a time for us to return to the Lord; to confess our sins; to forgive one another and be reconciled with one another. For our Lord is a God of grace; “he will abundantly pardon.” repentance is God’s gift of grace offered to us every day.
Lent is a time for us to check ourselves. For us to bare ourselves. For us to humble ourselves and to acknowledge that we are a part of something bigger than ourselves. Lent presents the opportunity to be vulnerable and to be open to God and God’s will. Knowing that without God’s grace, we are nothing.
Transfiguration Sunday
Luke 9:28-36
The Syrophoenician woman.
Give to us faith like the grain of mustard seed which had small beginnings but which yielded large results. Give to us the faith to move the mountains of difficulty which come to each of us. Give to us the faith that sees a distant goal and is willing to work to achieve it.
Take God's love with you as you leave Central today. And
During the week open up one of your Bibles, it does not matter which one or where you start. Meditate there on God’s laws and the Word of God and see what message He brings to you.
Go in kindness and love for everyone. Those you know and those you have not yet met.
Thank you, Lord, for giving us the opportunity to do your work, to be able to meditate on you, and to be who you want us to be in this week.

LOVE
These three remain: faith, hope and love.
But the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13: 1-13
The Spirit of God is upon you and has anointed you.
You are the salt of the earth and you bring light to the world.
You are not too young or too old, you are not too rich or too needy to bring good news to the impoverished, to give a hand to the broken-hearted, and to live out freedom and pardon through the gifts you have been given.
Do not be frightened, for you are never alone.
